A guide to our Diamante Wellies

We’ve all been there, especially in this country. The weather takes a turn for the worse and we have to break out the Wellington Boots. Droves of green and black dull wellies are donned and out we trudge into the miserable weather. Well, this need no longer be the case with the introduction of our new, fantastic Muddz Diamante Wellies! These gorgeously designed boots are just the ticket to make wearing wellies stylish and fashionable. Strut your stuff with the best of them in these fantastic diamante wellington boots.

Now, your normal boot size will be fine for these wellies as they fit fairly similarly. However, if you find you need a different size then don’t fret! We have a 14 day returns policy so if you don’t get it right the first time, you can have another go! Here are the accurate measurements of the wellies in centimetres though, just so you can get more of an idea of the size you will need:

Size/Heeled Boots                   Circumference                      Last Bottom length

3                                                  33.8 cm                                  23.9 cm

4                                                  34.2 cm                                  24.7 cm

5                                                  34.8 cm                                  25.3 cm

6                                                  35.5 cm                                  25.9 cm

7                                                  36.0 cm                                  26.7 cm

8                                                  36.8 cm                                  27.3 cm

As they are wellies, they’re bound to get a little dirty from time to time. Caring for them is very simple though. Please don’t leave them outside or sitting in direct sunlight as high temperatures may cause the colour to fade. Ideally they need to be stored in a cool place, inside. As for the diamante crystals, wiping them with a damp cloth and a little washing up liquid should restore them to their former glory. So you can easily keep your wellies as beautiful as they were when you bought them!

A short history of Wellies

The Wellington boot, surprisingly, was made popular initially by Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, in the early 19th Century. This new found footwear, the ‘Wellington’ was then adopted by British aristocracy and became a very fashionable item. However, it has been a very long time since then and after being widely used by farmers, soldiers and many industrial industries, we now come to this point in time where the Wellington has finally been jazzed up a bit and may even become a fashionable item once more! The great designs on offer are testament to this; you’ll be begging for rain and looking for an excuse to get your wellies on at any opportunity!
